It’s actually a continuation of God’s relationship with Israel, rooted in the covenants and promises of the Old Testament. During this period, the Law still governs. The Temple is active, sacrifices are ongoing, and even those who become believers and followers of Christ do not abandon their Judaism. They continue to observe all aspects of the Law.
